Non-Profit

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, we operate under strict IRS rules. One of the rules is called the Public Support Test. This test requires:

1/3 of all donations must come from the public (as opposed to directors or officers). However
These public donations are subject to 2% limits, in other words, large ($1,500 or > 1% of total donations) cannot be counted in the "public" donations.
This means that at least 1/3 of our donations must come in smaller amounts
This also means that we cannot focus on large donations
This is why your donations, no matter how small (Mark 12:42-44), are important.

Rejoicify and internally driven recording projects are totally funded by donations. Rejoice Music receives income from CD & mp3 sales, Duplication Services, & Recording externally driven projects.

Our Costs

Rejoice Music provides the Rejoicify streaming service at no charge. However, there are significant development costs (~$400k expected) as well as significant costs to operate this service, typically around $85,000/year. Also, Rejoice Music generates music projects to grow the Rejoice Music portfolio. Your donations help us fund staff to create this music.

What We're Working On

We have big plans for Rejoicify. Both the app and the organization are still under development. Here's what we are working on next.

More Music and More Styles

We are currently working on making some of our older recordings available. We are also including more music styles such as traditional Mennonite music and Apostolic Christian Nazarene music. We're committed to building an expansive and vetted music catalog for Rejoicify.

Music Preferences

We know that everyone has different preferences (food, music, etc.). While we add more music styles we also plan to add the ability for you to select which styles appear in your music catalog.

New App Features

We want the Rejoicify app to be a high quality music app. Right now we are focused on getting the core experience right. In the future we plan to add more platforms and improve integrations with cars, wearables and speaker systems. Within the app we plan to add more song information, sharing functions and more library management features.
