We’re excited to welcome Horizon to Rejoicify with the addition of their self-titled album.

Horizon was a one-time vocal trio featuring a couple from Roanoke, Illinois, along with a singer from Washington, Illinois. Together, they created a sound that blended familiar traditional harmonies and fresh musical influences.

Recorded in 1985, Horizon holds a special place as one of the first studio-sponsored projects and among the final albums released on vinyl before music distribution began shifting more fully to cassette. That setting gives the album a wonderful sense of transition — rooted in the warmth of earlier gospel recordings while gently pointing toward a new season of sound and presentation.
