The Heart Cry Ensemble is a vibrant Canadian choral group dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of sacred choral music. Based in Ontario and founded in 2017, the ensemble was formed by two families—Wendell & Twyla Diefenbacher and Kendall & Kyle Roth—who shared a lifelong passion for worshipful singing and community outreach.

Under the direction of Wendell Diefenbacher, the Heart Cry Ensemble brings together a rotating roster of accomplished vocalists who rehearse seasonally before touring throughout their region. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to impact communities through heartfelt spiritual music, especially by encouraging churches with limited youth involvement through uplifting choral programs.

The ensemble’s repertoire spans classical sacred works, hymn arrangements, and contemporary choral compositions. Their performances combine musical excellence with deep spiritual resonance, making their concerts a meaningful experience for audiences across Canada and the U.S.
