In the past, all of the music in the Rejoice Music portfolio was from either a) groups that were recorded by Rejoice Music, or b) were groups from the Apostolic Christian Church of America (ACCA), Apostolic Christian Church Nazarene (ACCN), or the Apostolic Christian Faith Church (ACFC) that made music recordings elsewhere and asked us to help distribute their music.

At the same time, one of our leading retailers, Melt the Heart, had expanded the music they offered on their website to include many groups associated with Anabaptist traditions, such as Mennonites. The music from these groups tended to be pretty similar in style to the music in the Rejoice Music portfolio. This has gone very well for them, so we decided to expand our music offerings beyond the Froehlich-based churches.

We met with Melt the Heart staff, and they gave us some great advice as to how to approach this new music market. They also wrote letters of introduction for us to many of these groups.

At this point, you have seen the announcement of Acapeldridge joining us on Rejoicify. You will continue to see many more groups from Anabaptist-based churches. We hope that not only will this provide a large expansion in the amount of music available on Rejoicify, it will also expand the styles that we have offered so far.
