New Artist: The Eshes

The Eshes: A Legacy of Harmony, Faith, and Inspiration

Few groups capture the spirit of gospel music as beautifully as The Eshes. A beloved Mennonite family known for their breathtaking a cappella harmonies and heartfelt devotion, The Eshes, led by John and Sadie Esh, have touched countless lives through their music. Their recordings reflect an unwavering faith, a deep love for traditional hymns, and a commitment to sharing the gospel through song.

However, on March 26, 2010, tragedy struck. While traveling to a wedding in Iowa, ten members of the Esh family and a family friend lost their lives in a devastating accident. This heartbreaking event shook their community, yet their musical legacy continues to uplift and inspire.

Their album The Sands of Time stands as a testament to their gift, featuring deeply moving and spiritually rich songs. The track Home, written by Amos Esh, remains a listener favorite, embodying the warmth and faith that defined their sound. Similarly, their rendition of Weep No More from the album Home continues to comfort and encourage, proving that their voices still echo in the hearts of many.

Listeners have expressed their admiration for The Eshes' remarkable harmonies and powerful delivery:

"I love how well the Eshes blend. It has quickly become one of my favorites to listen to." "They certainly sing from the heart. Beautiful clear singing; you don't have to guess the words of new songs you haven't heard before. A good variety of traditional and new hymns all sung with feeling and reverence. Lovely!"

Now available on Rejoicify, The Eshes’ music continues to shine as a beacon of hope, faith, and harmony. Whether you're discovering their voices for the first time or cherishing them anew, their songs remain a powerful reminder of God’s love and the enduring strength of faith.
